Subject: Not bad...
This is a good set. Kimock is nice to have around, I don't care who you are. But, there are better sounding audience recordings than this and there are better performances by these guys. Not being unappreciative, just trying to help people choose what to download. I just tried out Jack Trifiro's mastered SBD of this set and it's excellent.

Sound is pretty good on this show. Easily 4 stars - perhaps better if you have the equipment. Bass guitar is probably the only instrument which gets lost in the mix at points. Reid's vocals are quite clear, and Nate is prominent.

Came to this show by way of the Kimock cameo and it is my first exposure to AOD. Great collaboration, particularly with Nate, in Speculator. They have a wonderful conversation.

I hear a little bit of Nashville, a little bit of James Taylor in Reid's inflection and vocal execution as well as the songs themselves. Other songs which caught my ear are Bootleggers Advice, Paul Henry, and Roads.

A few more shows through the eardrums, and I would be up for seeing them live. This much I'm not on the fence about - Nate Wilson is a excellent piano player and a joy to listen to throughout the show.

Subject: Sweet show!
What a great show. The decent sound is made up for by the great music. Damn, I wish Steve Kimock would have sat in for the whole show. His tone sure is something special...and his solo just builds in layers. Beautiful stuff.

AOD is an amazing rock band. I hope they keep the magic alive for years to come. I wish they would travel the midwest and play closer to me.

"Samuel Aging", "Lost & Amazed", "Roads" - Damn these songs are f-ing awesome!

I first became utterly enamored with this band when I heard a CD of a moe. show: 7/31/03 from Portland; I recommend you check it out. All of AOD's shows and both of their CD's are just great! I'm glad to see more moe. fans recognizing AOD's brilliance.

This is another great show from AOD. Awesome sound, tight jammimg.

Track 2 is "Bootleggers Advice" not Love Junkie.

Fine set, well worth your attention - has a prominent bump in the vocal response around 200-300 hz but take that out and the sound is beautiful. Nice live audience.

I'm talking about this Speculator. We've got John, Adam, Reid and Steve just laying it out. A tight and solid eleven song set. The boys were likely in front of one of there bigger audiences and they produced magic!

Subject: Really good
I had never seen them before, but what an amazing show. Steve Kimock was pretty tight and contributed a bit to this great show. Roads is really catchy as are most of the songs on this show. A must download!
